I have an awesome documentary idea, but I lack the technology and partner to film it. I’m looking for someone in the bay area. I have final cut, but no Mac, I don’t have a camera, but wish to use a DVX 100, (but I’m open to others). OH, and lights!! I don’t mind renting equipment, but if someone already has access to equipment, and likes my idea, maybe you would like to work on this project with me? My degree is in Apparel design, but as elective classes, I chose film and editing. I am sure I am not as experienced as many of you, but I’m not completely ignorant. I don’t have experience in Pro tools.
I picked up a great book on documentary filmmaking, though, I want to branch off from traditional styles. I hope to start in September, as I am busy putting a fashion show together for B-man. I would like to interview people from the bay area, but I also fancy taking a trip to NY for a few days to interview people there, (I have someone I/we can stay with). I want to interview as many people as I/we can, then use only the best of the best. I digress, if someone wants a fall/winter project shoot me an email. I want to take this seriously, but have fun, and would like to get it into an indie film festival.
