Just introducing myself

Hi all, just joined this tribe. Glad it exists. Anyway, the name's Le. Getting my B.A. from the film program at SF State end of this month. Never thought about documentaries when I decided to major in screenwriting/directing, but for various reasons, that's mainly what I'm doing at this point. Have had my shorts and one feature project shown at festivals, campuses, and conferences across the country. My biggest achievement is that a short film of mine is showing in New Zealand this month!! Yay!! Goto www.LeShengLiu.com to find out more about me ;)

Have you ever considered submitting to the Hot Docs International Festival in Toronto, ON?

    www.hotdocs.ca/

The festival just ended for this year, but the early submission deadline is usually in December, and you can submit for $35 USD. Cheap to enter, a huge audience (Hot Docs is sometimes better attended than the TIFF), and there's some prestige to be won.

I also hear that they give good swag.
